The Church has been the greatest force for good the world has ever known because Jesus commanded Christians to “love one another.” At our local church, we feed the hungry, visit the sick, console the grieving, bring the gospel to kids in juvenile hall, and much more. We welcome newcomers, serve at liturgy, instruct children in the faith, and support each other in a loving, safe environment.

Stewardship Way of Life
When we begin to follow Jesus more closely, we naturally become more thankful and generous people. We hear God’s call for and respond to his desire that we become genuine stewards in the world by sharing what we have with others.
Stewardship is the grateful response of a Christian disciple who recognizes and receives God’s gifts and shares them generously in love of God and neighbor. It is a spirituality and a way of life that begins with gratitude for every blessing, a sense of responsibility to take care of and increase each of those gifts, and a passion for freely giving back the first and best portion to God.
Stewardship spirituality urges us to focus on making God the priority in using all of our gifts. We spend time wisely in praying, studying scripture, participating in small groups, attending faith formation classes, and reading spiritual books. We share our unique individual talents by joining church ministries and helping the poor. We make planned, proportionate, and sacrificial financial commitments to build up God’s kingdom by allocating a percentage of our treasure to the weekly church offertory.
