The Sacrament of Matrimony (Marriage) is the sacred covenant in which a baptized man and woman commit to lifelong love and fidelity, with God's grace elevating their union to a holy and transformative bond. The Sacrament is a sacred celebration during which a couple stands before God and their community to profess their lifelong commitment to each other.
