Welcome to St. Brendan

Contact Page

Welcome

We're a cozy community of believers who seek to find our way in life by following Jesus together, and we want you with us on the journey.

Our patron, Saint Brendan the Navigator, went on a seven-year voyage across the Atlantic to discover new lands. As we discover new meaning in our own lives through faith, we gather as One Body in Christ to receive Strength for the Journey in our common worship and sacraments. We take care of each other and consider our community a Safe Harbor in life. We seek to discover True North by growing in our faith and meeting each other in small groups. And we come together with All Hands on Deck to serve others because of the love we have found here.

We were formed in 1929 as a small mission church. Today, we have grown to over 1200 families. Our community is close-knit and intimate, but we are open and welcoming. On Sundays, you’ll find a warm smile at our welcome station, uplifting music, inspiring messages, and genuine hospitality. Plan a visit this weekend and find your way with us.

Become a Part of Our Church Family

Come aboard and navigate life with us!

Everything we do is built on our mission “to help each other find our way in Christ." To do that, we
  • CONNECT people with one another;
  • Lead them into deeper PRAYER;
  • Help them HEAL from life’s wounds;
  • Encourage them to GROW in their faith; and
  • Inspire them to serve and share their faith through the LOVE of Christ.
We call these five goals of our church, Connect, Pray, Heal, Grow and Love. If you're lost at sea, find your way with us.

As a member, w
e ask that you take steps to grow in your discipleship. In fact, STEPS is an acronym for how to become a better disciple of Christ. As a member, we'll ask that you:

S - Serve in a ministry
T - Tithe & Give
E - Engage in a small group
P - Practice prayer, including regular Sunday worship with us
S - Share your faith by inviting friends and neighbors to church

Click on each step to learn more. If you think you're ready to become part of our church family, click on the button below to sign up for our upcoming Welcome & Orientation Sessions, stop by our welcome desk at the entrance to the church before or after any Weekend Mass, or click here to contact us directly with any questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you and telling you more about us.

Join the crew of our cozy community and find warmth and acceptance among the loving people of Saint Brendan Church.

Sister Angela Furia

Director of Ministry & Member Care

Our God is a personal and intimate God, who fills each individual heart with joy, peace, and meaning and urges us to be constantly ready to bring that same love to others. My work at Saint Brendan is to form small groups within the parish, support the people working in existing parish ministries, and engage new parishioners in the many liturgical, formative, and service activities of the parish. My hope is that each person at Saint Brendan will become an intentional disciple of Christ and engaged in the ministry and mission of the Church.

Mario Balestrieri

Director of Music Ministry

The two words in my job title—“Music” and “Ministry”—are what my life and my work are about. I am honored to touch the hearts of our parishioners, elevating and consoling their spirits more than words can ever express.
