What is Baptism? 

Baptism is the foundation of the Christian life and the first of the seven sacraments. Through water and the Holy Spirit, God gives us new life in Christ, forgives original sin, and incorporates us into His Church. 
As members of Christ's Body, we are called to grow in faith, participate in the life of the Church, and live as disciples in the world.
